Completing of 25 years of life..!!!

April 13, 1985, I was born to a middle class family in a small village name Waghoda BK. My childhood is packed with the memories of events and activities that have touched my life. I still remember I was very close to my grandfather. He used to carry me on his back and used to take me to our banana farms. He is not with me now, but still I feel his presence and thinks he is watching me. I wish he was their with me on my 25th birthday.

I turned 25 now and started 26 and enter a new era that is also beginning with the end of student life. Recently I read an article somewhere that there are some milestones in our lives at which we go back and review what we have done or what we have achieved and what yet need to be achieve. Such milestones are completing your 10 , 18, 25, 30, 40, 50 and 60 yrs of life. At each milestone we have some goals and plan to our self and try to achieve them. Completing 25 is an important point when you leave the first half of the youth with some characteristics and become mature in some aspects. And at this point, we think much more about our past what you have done and about future what we are going to. I am at 25 milestones now, and trust me I feel the same way. Other day I was sitting down was thinking what I done upto now and what I am doing now. I remember once talking to my father and he told me he was independent and was much more happy then me at age of 21 then me what I am now at 25. Sometime I think that was coming down to Australia for studying is my one big mistake? Since I was much more happier and stronger and even financially independent when I was in India. Another reason is, even after 8 months completing my degree, I am unable to secure a job in my field. Whereas my friends who did same course in India and got the job and much more happier. The author of that human behavior article had said truly, that if we don't get the goals what we have set up for that particular milestone, it brings sadness and bad feeling into that individual. But I have made myself more stronger to overcome this bad feeling and try more harder to achieve my goals. Ofcourse no one can be perfect.

Sometime I think we are just too scared, I know I had made many mistakes in my life (then whether it is career-wise, sports-wise or commitment to a relationships) just because I was scared. But now I decided to just look into my heart and do whatever the hell makes me happy. We have to just remember all those pitfalls like a road map, and avoid all those drama in future.

Is it a mis-use of public money by government in INDIA ???

I was shock after reading this news. Even today in India there are thousands of people who can't offer one time food to their families, and still some politicians or political workers don't give damn about it. Political party are looting public money and spending it extravagantly; instead of using it for public development purpose. Here is an perfect example of it.

On Monday 15 March 2010, "Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP)" (one of political party in India) completed 25 years of existence and also it was 76th birthday anniversary of Kanshi Ram, Founder of the party. On this occasion party has organized a MAHA RALLY, on which BSP already spend more than 300 crores India Rupees (apprx 72,672, 965.30 Australian Dollor). After spending so much of money on rally on the top of that supporters of BSP presented a garland of worth 5 crore INR to party president Mayawati, who is also a Cheif Minister of Uttar Pradesh state. The garland was made of 1000 donomination INR notes. Do you think it was really necessary to give such a expensive gift to Mayawati by her supporters? This money could have been use for some charity work or for supporting the real poor people in India, Instead of presenting it to Mayawati who proclaims to be "Dalit ki beti". And I don't think she would donate this garland to some charitable organization. A good leader don't want money and even if he/she gets it they should use for the welfare of their AMAN. But here, these all money will go in her pocket. This shows were does money go after people pay tax to government. Do you think we have kept door open for politicians to loot us????

Just think in this way their are 100s of political party and if each party decided to spend so much of government (public) money on their rally's and on such unnecessary celebrations; then will their be any money left for the development of country?? Every political party should realize it. I have seen many people in my village struggling to earn each and every penny to support their family. Their has been very less development. Most of the development in our village is been made by collecting money from wealthy people in my village. Construction of cement roads, cement gutters, shops have been done by Panchayat from the money collected from villagers and without any aid from government. As you can see above, government is busy in spending public money for their own purposes.

I just want to point out that, is it really worth to spend so much of public money on rally's??
And also to give such a expensive gift to someone who don't need it. So much cash could have been use to feed several thousands of people across the state or been invested in some development.

I guess, even political parties in developed country like Australia wont spend so much money.

Jellyfish in Australia

Hi,
Recently I came across an video (youtube) of MonsterQuest on killer JELLYFISH. Surprisingly, modern science don't know much about this deadly marine creature. It made me to start search some information about jellyfish and came across the following description of Box Jellyfish which is i think most dangerous among them and habitat at Australian beaches.

BOX JELLYFISH are transparent and pale blue in color, that make them nearly invisible in water. It got it name because of the cube like shape of the bell. Each corner has upto 15 tentacles and can reach up-to 3 meters in length. Each tentacle has approximately 5,000 stinging cells known as nematocysts. They have 24 eyes i.e cluster of 6 on 4 sides of bell. Jellyfish can swim in water at a speed of 2.5 to 4 knots, approximately at the same speed a human can swim. These makes them even more dangerous to human.

As such they don't have brain or central nervous system (CNS) but according to Dr. Jamie Seymour, Director of Tropical stinger research Unit, they have some sort of intelligence to follow and hunt their prey.

They are mostly found near beaches and at mouth of rivers after a local rain. At this point salinity at shore drops to some extend which make them migrate to shore. But if the water is muddy they prefer to stay away from shore. They prefer calm water and shallow then rough and deep sea.

In Australia, Box Jellyfish are mostly found around northern Australian beaches, during October to May.

Stings of Box Jelly fish have several serious consequences, due to its cardiotoxic (effect on the heart), neurotoxic (damage to the nerves) and dermatonecrotic (effect on the skin) components. And cause dead withing 180 seconds unless treated immediately. One should inactivate the remaining stinging cells by pouring vinegar or salt water or urine over the tentacles. Iso-propyl alcohol (common reagent use in labs) can also be used. After inactivating stinging cells, then tentacles can be removed by hand or knife.

Hope this helps...
